The baby angel emoji is a cherubic character in chorister’s attire and sporting a blue or golden halo which hovers above its head. It has a number of different meanings and uses, depending on the context. It can be used to compare someone (including oneself!) to an angelic being, either in temperament or virtue. It is also sometime interpreted as a cupid-like figure and can but used in combination with other love-themes emojis for Valentine’s greetings and other romantic gestures. It is also associated with Christmas time and Christmas decorations, meaning it is frequently found curated alongside other festive holiday emojis.
