Before 2016, there was a single – nominally – non gender specific blond-haired “person” emoji (it was clearly a man!), but since the push for a more diverse emoji set gained momentum, the “person” split into two genders: the blond-haired man and this, the blond-haired woman. Across all platforms her hair is – of course – blond, a characteristic which does not change, even with the application of skin color modifications. On Apple iOS, Facebook, and EmojiOne platforms, her hair is tied back into a pony tail. All other versions have her hair worn down. The emoji is fairly versatile, and is used in any situation requiring a – albeit blond-haired – woman.
