There are two shrimp emojis: one alive and whole, the other beheaded and breaded! This emoji is about the former, though it can be used interchangeably with the latter! The emoji shows a pink, orange or brownish colored shrimp with long antennas, beady eyes and multiple legs. In conjunction with other sea life emojis, it’s used when talking about the ocean, the seaside and aquariums. Much more regularly, though, and even though there is a breaded alternative, the shrimp emoji is used to describe shrimp as food! This emoji could be used to specifically refer to fresh or whole shrimp.
