Animoji

Emojis changed the way we think, the way we operate, and with the collection came the new way of communication, expressing our thoughts, our feelings. Emojis changed everything, and sometimes we think to ourselves. What would we do if face with tears of joy wasn’t there? It’s not just that emojis assist us in our everyday lives, help us channel our thoughts, but they are usually also the perfect response to pretty much everything, and we cannot deny that we overuse it on regular basis, as much as we can, in every occasion we see fit, and if president of USA can use it, we certainly can, but this, here, is not about the emojis. The revolution is coming, the revolution in the world of emojis that we know and love, so, let us enlighten you on the matter. As per usual, the ones responsible for their massive use, The Apple Corporation, are also the ones who upgraded it, so while the rest of the Android based world will need to wait a bit more to see these revolution on their phones, let us introduce you to Animoji, the new thing that will change the way you looked upon the small icons.

You must remember the Emoji movie, something that was quite popular during the summer days, and something you’ve probably already watched. Well, it’s something like that. Not that we’re saying emojis are getting sick, or anything. Remember that one emoji that just couldn’t live with the idea he is to use only one face? Well, it’s not like that, but still…the new Animoji feature will enable you to control an emoji, to become an emoji, and a whole lot more. It must seem like a silly thought, but for real, the newest panel Apple held on 12th of September provided us with more information on this matter, and while the panel did clear out on things like the fact IPhone X is made without a home button, it also presented us the new way of communication, an Animoji.

Ever wondered what would it feel like, to become an emoji, to have an emoji for each face your make? We did, and it seems Apple did as well, as the Animoji feature is just that, something new, something that will let you be the emoji. New camera focus will allow you to use the regular set, currently a set of 12 different, classic emojis including : Alien, Cat Face, Chicken, Dog Face, Fox Face, Monkey Face, Panda Face, Pig Face, Pile of Poo, Rabbit Face, Robot Face, and not to forget the Unicorn Face.

But the revolution doesn’t stop on the fact that you’ll be able to transfer each of your face expressions to an emoji in the matter of seconds, no, that would be too basic for Apple standards, so they decided to do the things differently. For starters, each of these emojis produces a different sound, and while unicorn may be a bit more horse-like sound, we can agree that the new update will be the best thing ever, as now you’ll be able to share pretty much anything through an emoji. Imagine all those days you decided to go makeup free, and all those days you decided not to brush your hair. Well, now, you’ll be able to text people, with no fear of them judging you for your messy state during the ritual known as lazy Sundays. Well, if you ask us, it definitely is a revolution, and while it may, for now, only be available on IPhone X and the newest iOS update, there’s hope that one day soon, it’ll be available to the world.

However, there’s one bad thing about this, and it’s not really a bad thing, but still, as usual, Apple decided to restrict this to  Messaging App only, which means, it won’t work on Fb, or some other Social Network, Yeah, right, it’s still not a thing to use frequently, especially if you’re friends do not own an IPhone, but hey, let’s just be happy this one exists, for now, and later, we’ll care about the fact this will not be a global trend for another year or so.

In case you still haven’t figured out the way all of this works, we’ll try to simplify. Animoji is kind of like Snapchat filter, but the difference is that you’re not receiving a photo of your face being modified, but rather an expression of your face in an emoji selected, as well as the video of your message in a different voice. The good thing about it is, you’re no longer scared someone will use your photo or save it, as there’s no photo included, and you’re as safe as you can be, so that’s a plus given IPhone X did go over top with that facial recognition feature, and we’d still like to feel a bit safer in the midst of this technology taking over our lives, so while we wait for the November, and the new IPhone update, the thought about the new collection of emojis, the ones that will let you experience it better, is certainly, a terrific one, and a life changing decision, especially for the old emoji collection. For now, the old collection stays, and this feature will probably take a few more years to develop completely, and for it to be accessible to everyone else in the world and not just to the iOS users, but hey, chins up, this still is something relatively new and exciting in the emoji world, and who knows what the future brings.

We may just have the new idea blooming into something that none of really expect, like it happened with the emojis, and look at the emoji collection now, it once was quite limited, just like the Animoji collection is now. The future does hold a lot of excitement, and now, all we need to is to wait for the new era to come, wouldn’t you agree?
