The credit card emoji depicts the back of a plastic bank card, nominally a credit card, but which could equally represent a debit card or a membership card. The emoji is usually either blue or golden yellow, depending on the platforms used. The magnetic strip is visible on all versions of the emoji, with many also showing the cardholder’s signature, and perhaps also the electronic chip. On the most intricate versions of this emoji – belonging to Apple and Samsung – the indentations of words can also be made out. The emoji is fairly versatile and can be used in any context or conversation to describe the spending of money!
