The incoming envelope emoji is very similar in appearance and meaning to the other envelope emojis. It depicts a single white – except on Google platforms where it appears as a yellow color – envelope with colored movement lines to one side of it to give the impression of speed. The exception is the Apple iOS version which shows an envelope partially placed in an incoming mail tray. The emoji is used to represent any message – whether electronic or in the form of a physical letter – which has either recently arrived or is currently on its way to the recipient. It can also be used to say “sending it right away!” to someone.
