Among the standard emojis, the angry face emoji is identical to the pouting face one, though whereas pouting face is a deep red, angry face is the characteristic emoji yellow. It has the same upturned mouth and circular eyes, with deeply furrowed and closely held eyebrows which indicate a pout, and it has a roughly similar meaning. The angry face emoji is to show fury and intense dissatisfaction, whether it be for a person, place, concept, argument or thing. It can also be used to show that you are on the brink of anger, but haven’t yet boiled over. The Samsung version of this emoji retains a red, angry hue.
