Emoji 14.0 - New emojis of 2021

After a long wait because of the covid-19 pandemic, the 2021 crop of emojis finally released. Recent release of new emojis on 14 September, 2021 under Emoji 14.0 saw an addition of 112 new emoji characters and combinations. Handshake emoji, which was a part of emojis since 2016, release of Emoji 3.0 finally gets skin-tone modifiers. Google released the new emoji set the same year and became the first vendor to feature the new emojis, with the launch of Android 12L on October 27, 2021. In the first quarter of 2022, Twitter, Apple, Facebook and JoyPixels also released the new set in their updates on March 6, 2022, March 14, 2022, April 20, 2022 and July 17, 2022 respectively.

Emoji 14.0 steps up the gender neutrality bar with the extension of pregnant man and pregnant person emojis. Bean emoji can make many people excited. Lip bite emoji is expected to soar the temperature. Here is the list of 112 new emojis released in 2021 alongside Unicode 14.0:
