The rescue worker’s helmet emoji depicts a hard helmet with a white cross emblazoned on its front. It is used to represent people in any branch of search and rescue as well as many emergency services workers such as firefighters and paramedics. In Japan, it is also associated with the safety helmet worn by construction workers. It is almost always depicted as red, though EmojiDex uses the same design but in green. On Samsung devices, the emoji appears as a two-dimensional white silhouette on a blue background. It can also be used figuratively, such as to say “I’ll rescue you!” to a friend.
