The sweat droplets emoji usually depicts three droplets of blue liquid falling at an angle. On both Samsung and Google platforms, only two droplets are displayed, but this is the only difference among the various emoji versions. The droplets can have a realistic shine to them, or they can appear as a single block color. The emoji is used to demonstrate exertion or pressure, and is often used in combination with other emojis, or to add emphasis or drama to one of the cold sweat emojis. Although it is readily associated with sweat, it can also be used to represent any blue liquid or water, such as splashes from puddles or rain drops.
