The penguin emoji is an extremely popular emoji. Not so much because it is particularly meaningful or versatile, but rather because lots of people really love penguins! The emoji is very distinctive, usually depicting a black and white penguin with a yellow or orange beak and feet. The Apple iOS version differs from most others by only showing the head rather than the entire body, and Android’s penguin is blue and white rather than the traditional black and white. It can be used in almost any cute, cuddly or loveable context, or to playfully suggest that it’s very cold outside!!
